On September 20, 2014, the Morbid Eclipse was summoned to the 5 Star Bar in Los Angeles, by the Church of the 8th Day to provide direct support for the monumental Gravehill. As this was a last minute lineup change, the hyperdrive engine and flux capacitor were pushed to their limits to make the trans-temporal and inter-dimensional trip in time. The night was also a test of the recent Inductee Mike Rivas‘ execution of his first mission for the Atomic Cult. Indeed, Mr. Rivas performed his first mission well, as Morbid Eclipse was greeted with a tremendous crowd and a fine new prospective inductee for the Rites of Ascension–Adam L. Murray.
The Atomic High Priestess of the 1st Galactic Order, Jen-Al, presided over the Rites of Ascension. Mr. Murray was summoned to before a full house to gaze upon the ceremonial space sacraments. With noted eagerness he pulled in the radiant wisdom from the Skull of Seldon and welcomed the radioactive warmth from the tritium rich heavy water. Shortly afterwards, Mr. Murray stated that “I have opened a new chapter in my life with an unparalleled sense of purpose and power…let’s drink a beer!”
Adam L. Murray is notable for his spectacular live band photography, dedication to all things Metal and beer, and his unique zine Heavy Cream. On his first mission, Mr. Murray has been instructed by the Atomic Cult to join Morbid Eclipse on a journey up the California Coast in December. Mr. Murray will document the journey and the Rites, and help everyone drink heavily.
Adam L. Murray, welcome to the Atomic Cult.
Serve the Atomic Cult.
